My friend, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. (3 John 2)

Healing:
Sometimes Man's Best is not Enough

So many people are ill in our generation with conditions that it seems doctors can do little about.  Sure, medication can sometimes hide the symptoms or cut the pain but there is no possibility of a permanent cure.

It is always right in any life crisis to seek God's help, although we are expected to be responsible in our lives and do what we can to remedy our own situation.

These illnesses or afflictions can be physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.  This site is not the place to go into the distinctions between these realms.  The afflictions are equally real and the divine remedy is the same in all cases: the undeserved mercy and goodness of God available to us because the Lord Jesus Christ shed His blood and died upon the cross that we might have peace with God and be freed from the guilt, penalty and dominion of sin.

The greatest healing of all is the salvation of the human soul.  Even if our bodies are healed we will eventually die and come before God as our Judge.  If we have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as our saviour we have nothing to fear, if not we shall be separated from God forever.  So healing for physical, emotional, mental or spiritual problems in this life are temporary, but the healing of the human soul, where spirit and body are united to form our very being, is for all eternity.

Our most sincere prayer is that you might know that you have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

However, as we ourselves have been painfully aware at times in our own lives, healing for the body and mind and deliverance from other afflictions of this life is also very important.
We know that we should praise and thank our God in all circumstances, and we try.  But it’s hard if you’re in constant pain or worried sick over a loved one.  Yes we try, but sometimes its through gritted teeth.  And our God understands all about that.

Now we’re not claiming any great personal “healing ministry”, but the scriptures tell us to pray for one another that we might be healed. So we invite you to send us you request for prayer for yourself or a loved one, whether already a Christian or not.

All you need to do is email us the name, the problem and a simple location such as Manchester UK.  If you are a Christian but the one you are asking prayer for is not, tell us so that we may pray for their salvation too.
